A zApp is an interactive module that may contain an introductory lesson followed by one or more questions asked in a variety of formats. zApps are self-correcting, with the exception of questions which ask for an extended response. All of the single zApps available on the sQuizya Library are free to browse and use.
zApp type
zApp authors are asked to define their zApps by one of the eight zApp type classifications sQuizya offers. zApps can be a lesson, tutorial, exercise, assessment, project, survey, information or other.
Qs
Qs refer to the number of questions in a zApp. These questions can be in many different formats.
Level
Level is the school grade/year or academin level that the zApp is designed for. It is chosen by the author and includes the most suitable academic levels for all ages and all school types.
Permission
Permission indicates what types of sQuizya users can see the zApp. The options are:
Teachers and Students: zApps that everyone can see and participate in.
Teachers only: zApps that only teacher users can see in the School Library and add to My Library. These zApps can then be assigned to students as homework or in class as work that they have not seen before.
