A zApp Book is a collection of multiple zApps, which may be divided into chapters based on theme, or any method of classification and division that the zApp Book author desires.
Qs
Qs refers to the number of questions in a component zApp. These questions can be many different formats of questions.
Level
Level is the school grade/year or academic level that the zApp Book is designed for. It is chosen by the author and includes the most suitable academic levels for all ages and all school types.
Assign
To assign the zApp Book to students select the orange button in the action column. A pop-up window will ask you to fill in the details. Select a class/group or subgroup, complete the opening and due date, time limit, feedback option, hint and grading system before assigning the zApp. You can leave a final completion message for the students.
There are two options when assigning a zApp Book, Standard Pathway or No Pathway (manual). Standard Pathway will immediately assign the students the next chapter or zApp once they have completed and submitted the previous one. To select this option ensure that the Pathway checkbox is ticked.
For No Pathway unselect the checkbox and plan your own pathway through the zApp Book. You can give students just parts of a zApp Book or plan a different way for them to complete the zApps.
Shelves
You can create shelves and add zApp Books to assist in organization. Select the blue button in the action column.
Archive
To remove something from My Library select the red archive button in the action column. It will send the zApp Book to the Archived zApp Books section available at the top of the page.
