zApp Creator Step 2

zApps are broken up to individual sections of questions or lessons. You can create a zApp with any combination and number of lessons or questions.

A lesson is an important space for presenting information for users. Lessons can be embedded with a range of multimedia and content.

You can select from eleven question types offered to make the participants experience engaging.

Question Type

There are eleven types of questions to suit any learning styles. You can choose from:

• ·      Matching
• ·      Multiple Choice
• ·      Multiple Response
• ·      Multiple Sub-question 
• ·      Numerical/Embedded
• ·      Short Answer/Embedded
• ·      Sorting
• ·      Survey
• ·      True/False
• ·      Yes/No

Add a Question

To add questions and lessons select add question and choose from the pop down windows.

Each question format has different attributes and benefits that could suit a variety of needs. We recommend exploring them all and seeing if they suit your educational purpose.

You can add a Hint/ Explanation before or after users answer the question by selecting from the drop down. If you do not select anything there will be no hint offered to users.

A question name is an optional referencing tool to make viewing and completing the zApp simpler. The question name will appear in the side bar in participation view and in the question title bar of the zApp editor. 

Save to Work in Progress

To save your work to complete later select Save to Work in Progress from action panel in zApp Content.

Share zApp

Selecting Share zApp opens up the final step of the zApp Creator. You will need to fill in the fields and select create. For more details on zApp sharing and the required fields see below.

Expand All

To expand all the questions easily, select Expand All on the title bar of Step 2: zApp Content.
